About Us
No action packed story here, only a little sweet one (no pun intended!). The simple fact is that Barfibox was born from consistently good home made Indian cooking. We've always enjoyed entertaining guests at our home and always had a passion for creating great tasting food. Time after time people would tell us how much they enjoyed our recipes. Okay, so we knew our food tasted great but if we were going to make it available to everyone we knew it would have to be more than that. So what makes us different to all the other Indian confectionary companies out there?
Apart from the amazing taste of our food, we wanted our company to provide the following:
- Our products would be made from the finest quality ingredients.
- Our finished products had to reach our customers fresh and without having to use preservatives or GM ingredients.
- The products would be beautifully presented to the customer.
- We would continually look at ways to provide our customers with
innovative products and superior customer service.
We set out on a journey to create a company that met our high ethical values and almost 9 months later Barfibox was born.
Our Name: Our
name came about whilst attending a Navraatri festival (a nine night
Indian festival). After a few good hours of dancing (nothing like
dancing to get ideas flowing!) we threw a few names in the air (some of which were quite funny!) "Barfibox" just seemed to stick! |
Our Slogan: This
proved to be far more difficult than the name! After weeks of research
and hundreds of unworthy slogans, we asked ourselves what eating our
food meant to us? The answer was simple - it meant sharing good times
together and having time
for one
another. |
